Supporting the People of Lintha
With "Mama Sue" living in, and dedicated to, the people of Lintha, the Trust is able keep it's finger on the pulse of the local community in a truly unique way. We have been able to provide rapid support to people in desperate need of care.
Involved with a vast number of situations ranging from urgent health issues or sudden bereavement through to financing building projects, funding further education, and arranging eductional trips to the UK, the Andrew Clark Trust continues to be available to those needing help. M.A.B.A. is a non-political, non-profit organisation with the following objectives:
- To promote friendship and close harmonious relationships (particularly cultural, educational and sporting) between the people of Myanmar and the people of Britain.
- To promote greater understanding and awareness of Myanmar in Britain and Britain in Myanmar.
- To promote and arrange cultural, sporting, educational and other events and exchanges between Britain and Myanmar.
- To endeavour to interest organisations, charitable and otherwise, in participating in events in Myanmar and in Britain, but not of a political nature.
